Type: Marble Soldier Memorial
Description:
A marble soldier at rest is mounted on a short square column. The lower part of the rifle held by the soldier is missing. The inscription on the column reads: "Erected By ~ Stockton ~ Womans Relief Corps ~ Auxiliary To The G.A.R. ~ In Memory Of The ~ Union Veterans ~ Of The Civil War ~ 1861 - 1865 ~ Erected In 1933".
Flanking granite markers are part of this statue placement. The left marker is inscribed: "American Legion Auxiliary ~ Dedicated To Those Of Rooks County Who ~ Gave Their Lives In World War I. Donated ~ By The American Legion Auxiliary Post 97 ~ {names}". The right monument is inscribed: "Veterans Of Foreign Wars symbol ~ Korean War 1950 - 1953 In Memory Of ~ All Veterans Who Served Their ~ Country In Its Time Of Need ~ Donated By VFW Post 8873 ~ And Ladies Auxiliary".

Type: Granite Monument
Description:
A polished black granite monument is inscribed "Lest We Forget". This inscription is surrounded by engravings of an American Eagle, "United States Armed Services" and a portrait of an honor guard signaling Taps. Benches in front of the monument are inscribed with: "Spanish American ~ Civil ~ WW I ~ WW II" and "Korea ~ Vietnam ~ Desert Storm". The granite markers flanking the central monument list names for each of the listed conflicts.
